A. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

  • Registration: Students should register their names by submitting the Students' Data Sheet in the prescribed format provided by the Department of Training and Placement Cell. Only registered students are eligible to participate in placement activities.
  • Voluntary Participation: Campus placement is a facility provided for the students. Registration is not compulsory. Students not interested in placement are advised not to register.
  • Job Offer Policy: Students will be allowed a single job offer only. However:
    • Already placed students may appear for a "Dream Company".
    • If selected by a Dream Company, the student is no longer eligible for any further campus placements.
    • Already placed students (not placed in a Dream Company) may go for a second offer after 80% placement of eligible students is achieved or if the new offer is twice the value of the current one.
  • Backlog Policy: Students with 4 or more course backlogs are not allowed to register. They must clear their backlogs first.
  • Company Criteria: The eligibility criteria imposed by the visiting company will be final and binding.
  • Mandatory Training: Eligible/registered students must attend all training programs and workshops organized by the department or placement cell.
  • Communication: The department placement coordinator is the single point of contact for students of the respective department for all placement-related matters.
  • Documentation: During induction, companies may require a Passport and PAN card. Students are expected to apply for them in advance.
  • Transportation: Students must manage their own return transport and inform their parents if the interview day extends into the evening.
  • Pooled Drives: Students may be required to attend placement drives at other colleges and must inform parents in advance about the venue and timings.
  • Interview Instructions:
    • Report at the venue of the pre-placement talk and interview on time.
    • Carry at least 5 copies of your resume, photocopies of all certificates, and 5 passport-size photographs.
    • Dress professionally and be well-groomed.
  • Placement Assistance: The TPO provides assistance for final-year students. Placement is a privilege, not a right.
  • Resume Guidelines: Students must bring a proper and updated resume. All information must be genuine. Violation will lead to disqualification from the placement process for the academic year.
