The Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a Workshop on Full Stack using Generative AI on 19th September 2025 from 10:00 AM onward. The workshop aimed to provide students with hands-on exposure to modern full-stack development integrated with the latest Generative AI tools and techniques.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of B.Tech VII Semester, V Semester, and III Semester. More than 100 students attended the session, making it a highly engaging and successful event.

Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Bhopal, held the grand Deeksha Aarambh program on 8 September 2025 to induct first-year students of B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, MBA, and B.Pharm. Lt. Gen. Milan Lalit Kumar Naidu (Retd.), the Chief Guest, inspired students by emphasizing that discipline, dedication, and leadership are the keys to success in every sphere of life. He urged them to combine technological skills with ethics, social responsibility, and nation-building. Storyteller Jyoti Pande, in her keynote, highlighted that education shapes one’s life story and should blend values, struggle, and contribution to society. Presiding over the program, Dr. Anil Bajpai outlined the institute’s vision, student clubs, experiential learning, language training, and entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at holistic development. The event began with lamp lighting, attended by over 400 students and parents, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mamta Thakur. The program created an inspiring start to students’ academic journey.
The Chief Guest of the program was Lt. Gen. Milan Lalit Kumar Naidu (PVSM, AVSM, YSM, Retd). In his address, General Naidu congratulated the students on reaching this pivotal stage in life where they begin their higher education. He emphasized that education is not merely a means to earn a degree, but a powerful platform from which the journey of nation-building begins.
Drawing from his military experience, he highlighted how discipline, dedication, and leadership are essential keys to success in every sphere of life. He encouraged students to cultivate leadership qualities and prepare themselves mentally to face challenges. He further stated that while today’s youth are technologically capable, they must also embrace ethical values, social responsibility, and commitment to the nation. His message was clear: “You are not studying just for yourself, but for society and the country.”
Renowned storyteller Mrs. Jyoti Pande delivered the keynote address, stating that stories are not just a source of entertainment but a profound medium to understand life. She told students that every individual has their own story, and education is the most powerful tool to shape that narrative. She shared excerpts from her inspiring stories, beautifully weaving themes of sensitivity, courage, ethics, and self-discovery. She emphasized that young people today need not only technical knowledge but also emotional intelligence and social awareness. Her message: “Your story becomes meaningful only when it includes struggle, values, and contribution to society.” She urged students to create a life story that inspires others.
The program was presided over by Dr. Anil Bajpai, who shared the academic vision, facilities, and student development initiatives of the institute. He introduced students to various active clubs such as the Technical Club, Leadership Club, Art & Culture Club, and Innovation Club, which play a vital role in holistic development. These clubs help students build skills in leadership, teamwork, and creativity.
Dr. Bajpai also highlighted the institute’s state-of-the-art laboratories, multiple playgrounds, and well-structured infrastructure. He announced that students would receive training in French and German languages, enabling them to pursue international job opportunities or higher education abroad.
Discussing the teaching methodologies, he explained that the institute follows experiential learning, activity-based learning, and project-based learning. Various events are organized to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. He emphasized that the institute’s goal is not just to impart education but to nurture entrepreneurs and innovators who contribute to nation-building. To support this vision, the institute organizes Startup Conclaves, Creators Conclaves, and entrepreneurship development programs, providing students with platforms to transform their ideas into ventures.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing Indian tradition and the pursuit of knowledge. This was followed by the formal welcome of guests and the presentation of mementos as tokens of appreciation.
More than 400 students and their parents attended the event. After the program, lunch was served to all attendees, reflecting the institute’s hospitality and commitment to care.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Bhopal, successfully organized the 11th International Yoga Day celebration on 21st June 2025. The event was coordinated by Ms. Namita Jhende, Assistant Professor, with an aim to promote the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being among students, faculty, and staff members.
The session was conducted by Dharmendra Kushwah, Yogacharya, who guided the participants through various yoga postures, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and meditation techniques. The program commenced with a brief introduction to the significance of International Yoga Day and the ancient science of Yoga, emphasizing its relevance in today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle.
Yogacharya Dharmendra Kushwah demonstrated and explained various asanas, highlighting their health benefits and correct techniques. He also emphasized the importance of regular yoga practice for maintaining physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance. Participants enthusiastically engaged in the session and actively practiced the demonstrated exercises under his guidance.

On 14 May 2025 — National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and Red Ribbon Club in PRESTIGE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH BHOPAL, in collaboration with Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) Bhopal, organized a one-day blood donation camp. In the camp, the students of the institute, Faculty Staff, NSS Cadet and NCC Cadet voluntarily donated their blood.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Director of Prestige Bhopal Dr. Anil Bajpai, Dean Administration Dr. Abhilash Thakur, Principal Dr. Ilyas Khan and Registrar Dr. Mahesh Vanjani. According to NSS Program Officer Sanjay Sharma, "The objective of this initiative was to provide blood to the needy on time and to promote awareness about blood donation in the society." Blood was donated by 32 Students and 6 Faculty Members of the Institute. At the event Blood donors were awarded certificates as praise and refreshments were also arranged. NSS Faculty Members and students of NSS Unit contributed significantly to the success of the program.
Dept of CSE , Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Bhopal, in collaboration with CodeChef, hosted an engaging coding competition titled "CODATHON" on May 27, 2025. The event saw active involvement from numerous students hailing from different engineering institutes across the region.
The primary objective of the competition was to foster programming proficiency and problem-solving capabilities among aspiring tech professionals. Participants showcased remarkable coding talent and creativity throughout the event.
The competition concluded with an award ceremony, where winners were presented with certificates and prizes. Dignitaries including Dr. Anil Bajpai (Group Director), Dr. Iliyas Khan (Principal), Dr. Neelesh Jain (HoD, CSE), and Dr. Parashu Ram Pal (Coordinator) acknowledged the participants’ efforts and motivated them to continue striving for excellence in the tech domain.
Entrepreneurship & Startups Education: Moving Beyond Theories to Practical Application
An industrial visit of CRISP, Bhopal was organized by Electronics and Communication department on 29th Sept 2023. The students B.Tech visited the CRISP, Bhopal. The number of students was 17. . The industrial visit coordinators were Asst. Prof. Sanjay Sharma and Assit. Prof . Pooja Jain. Crisp provide training in hi tech areas like IT, Electronics, VLSI, Management and Behavioural science. Student visited different laboratories of Electronic, control, man machine interface ,drives, CNC control based on PLC,SCADA, the visit was focused on attainment of competencies and skills to empower the students to perform efficiently and better to improve employability of students in future. It has facilities in the area of Industry automation modern manufacturing IT, Computer Aided handicraft design, and human resource development
